Christmas Celebration at Camp Gilmore

Sunday, December 27, 1863

The Thirteenth New Hampshire spent a cold and sometimes snowy week at Camp Gilmore, highlighted by an observance of Christmas on Friday. The Thirteenth enjoyed a holiday feast and celebrated with games and other festivities accompanied by music from the Brigade Band.¹
