Another Week of Drills

Monday, January 12, 1863

The Thirteenth New Hampshire spent much of the previous week engaged in drills. Assistant Surgeon John Sullivan was sent home on sick leave indefinitely in order to preserve his life.1

Assistant Surgeon John Sullivan Joins the Regiment

As the Thirteenth New Hampshire Regiment prepares for another move, Assistant Surgeon John Sullivan, who has served with the Second New Hampshire Regiment, joins the Thirteenth.1
